From the person who cut you off in traffic to the person you come home to at night, we affect one another.

So why wouldn’t you want to put the best people in your life?

That’s people freedom and here’s how to achieve it.

1 - Understand The Power of People Freedom

For many people, it’s actually not a choice. A lot of people are stuck (and unhappy) with the people in their lives.

Worse, they think this is the way it has to be. Nope.

You can have people freedom. You deserve it, because life is short.

That’s the power of people freedom.

2 - Decide You Want It

Deciding is the concrete step that puts you on the path to success.

Once you decide that people freedom is indeed worth your peace of mind, then your whole outlook changes.

There’s the life you have now, with the people imposed upon you by life and work and other things that don’t care about you. And then there’s the life that awaits you, surrounded by people that you put there.

And the turning point, is deciding.

 3 - Change Your Environment

Environmental psychology is the study of how our environments affect our moods and ability to think!

Changing your environment is a great way to gain people freedom.

In your new environment, you’ll meet new people that can help you unlock your full potential.

Each environment (whether its work, the beach or some social club) brings a certain type of person to it. So find out what those people can be to you by changing your environment.

 4 - Seek a new opportunity

It’s time to seek a new opportunity. Only you can know what that looks like.

Take your workplace. As an employee, you’re at the mercy of whoever is doing the hiring. They pick the team. They pick the players. Sometimes they even pick exactly who is sitting next to you.

That’s too much to leave to chance. Be your own boss. Seek new opportunities.

Find the people you were meant to have in your life.

 5 - Be With Others

If you do find yourself in a situation where you’re surrounded by people that you know aren’t doing you any good, resist the temptation to retreat. Instead, be with others.

That instinct to socialize isn’t what’s wrong. It’s the sacrificing our own joy that’s the problem. When you put other people ahead of your feelings, you’re bound to be let down.

So instead of disengaging, move forward. Be with others in new situations to find the right people that align with your values.

Be with others to learn about yourself and your boundaries. Where are the areas of your life that you’ve become complacent? How can others inspire you to break through?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this fear of sales, lack of marketing know how, and poor business skills is killing us.

We don’t have enough people in the industry hungry, and I mean hungry as though they are salivating to learn how to think and be CEO’s.

We need more CEOs.

CEOs have vision and vision is what’s going to be needed to change this world right now.

I’ve put together four huge shifts on thinking like a CEO. Do these and you’re going to be an unstoppable force to be reckoned with.

 1) Embrace Sales

You can’t do your job if you’re not honest about what you’re doing.

Like it or not, sales is the name of the game. Our economy would stop without it. To think otherwise, is to deny the nature of success. The most influential people are all selling.

Start thinking like a CEO and train your brain to love and master the sales process, and you will come out on top in ANY industry.

As Grant Cardone says, “Sell or be sold- only options you got.”

 2) Let go of the MLM hang-ups.

The mindset of the winner is that of a CEO.

A CEO goes in and studies the model, works the systems, develops a team, mentors their team, believes and knows their product, get outs and sells it!

I’ve seen more lives turned around in the fitness industry by the people who bolt MLMs onto their existing businesses than any other tool, outside the online visionary brand game. And then I would still coach them to have both an online brand and an MLM business working together.

3. Become the Marketer.

You need to become the MARKETER.

If you want to be a business owner, then you need to fall in love with the idea of marketing what your team does! Sure, go clock in 5-10 hours a week of being on the floor because it fills your cup- cool. But, the other 30-40 need to be you out there crafting and working on the story, the vision, the sales message, the marketing plan, the team. No marketing means no one knows about you. You’re the best-kept secret that went broke like millions of others who didn’t shift their education and time to studying marketing.

4) Build and Know Your Automated Systems

The biggest block to your income potential is you.

You need to have marketing systems for how you share your message, develop your content, grow your tribe, build your courses, and more.

You have to have productivity systems for how you get more done with less time, like working only on projects that you can do and outsourcing the rest.

CEOs don’t have the chance to mess up. It all rides on them. They are the leaders. They inspire. They kick it off and keep the engine going. You need to think like that.

Get past any hang-ups you have. Your competition isn’t sitting around thinking about if sales or MLM is right for them. They aren’t debating- “Should I set up systems or market?” They are doing it. If you hesitate for a minute in today’s fast markets, you’re done.

So don’t let your brain drag behind. Don’t let it hold you back. Don’t cripple your success.

The more you embrace your love of sales, marketing, systems and let go of silly hang ups the greater effect you have in this world. Go out there and serve. Like a CEO.
